How to write a resume with AI that recruiters actually read
Use AI to write an ATS-friendly resume that still sounds like you — with prompts you can copy.
Recruiters spend seconds on each resume, and software often reads it first. AI can help you pass both.
Start with the job post
Paste the job description and ask: List the 10 most important skills and keywords in this posting.
Rewrite bullets as results
Weak: Responsible for social media. Strong: Grew Instagram from 2k to 18k followers in 9 months. Ask AI to turn your duties into measurable results, then fill in your real numbers.
Keep the format simple
One column, standard headings, no tables or images. Fancy designs often break ATS parsing.
Make it sound like you
Ask the AI to remove buzzwords like "synergy" and "results-driven". Read it out loud.
Never invent experience
AI can phrase things well. It can't make up a job you didn't do — and interviewers will ask.
